Dan Levy’s spring detour into crime comedy

April’s television conversation had room for a different kind of trouble. Netflix’s release calendar dated Big Mistakes to April 9; its introduction identified the comedy as a Dan Levy series about siblings pulled into organized crime through blackmail.

For City Mix readers, this is a screen-buzz entry beside the concert calendar: a premise to explore, rather than a claim that the show was filmed in Washington or a review based on an unpublished viewing. The interesting contrast is between a crime story’s usual competence and characters who appear spectacularly unprepared for it.
