Nicolas Reyes carries the Gipsy Kings name

The Vienna listing joined flamenco-rooted music to the late-August calendar.

Wolf Trap’s August 23 event named Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes. The venue’s artist material identifies Reyes with the group’s history and describes music drawing on flamenco, rumba, salsa and pop. The exact credit is worth retaining rather than shortening every version of the touring act to the same name.

This date sits between an ABBA tribute earlier in August and James Taylor’s return around the turn of September. Together those listings show the range of Wolf Trap’s summer programming. The retrospective verifies the billing and location; it does not claim which familiar songs appeared in the final performance.
