Hollywood in the DMV: Paradise brings its stars to Washington

Washington’s September screen story came with stars attached. TV Insider’s September 25 report placed Sterling K. Brown and Julianne Nicholson in DC with Paradise creator Dan Fogelman for some of the series’ final scenes. The report reproduced Fogelman’s Instagram wrap announcement and identified its accompanying image as his own post. City Mix did not take that photograph or attend the shoot.

The production trail also has a dated local record. SAG-AFTRA’s September notice identified Paradise Season 3, Washington as the location, and tentative shooting dates September 23–25, 2026. Kendall Cooper Casting sought background performers for schoolchildren, tourists, business professionals and other roles.

Together, the casting record and the reported wrap provide a stronger Hollywood-in-the-DMV story than a celebrity rumor alone: recognizable actors, a named series and local production dates. TV Insider reported the series wrap; we attribute that conclusion to its account of Fogelman’s announcement. This September filming story does not assign a Season 3 release date or imply every cast member listed for the show was in Washington.
