The runway meets the shopping route
PAAIE’s summer fashion-show listing brought designer collections into a familiar Northern Virginia setting.
A mall can be a stop on the fashion calendar as well as a place to buy clothes. PAAIE advertised its Summer Edition fashion show at Dulles Town Center on June 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. The brand’s invitation described a runway presentation of designer collections and seasonal styles, with opportunities to shop.
The Loudoun Chamber’s corresponding listing placed the presentation in front of Macy’s on the lower level in Sterling. The setting connects runway presentation with the everyday question of how a look moves into someone’s wardrobe. The date, place and advertised format are documented; this story does not invent a designer roster, audience response or our own view from the runway.
